Founded in 2018
by Izabela Silva
Inspired by the Afro-Brazilian expression abre caminho — to open paths — the company develops films that preserve memory, challenge dominant narratives and create space for new cinematic voices.
We believe every film demands its own language. Each project is developed through long-term collaboration, artistic research and an ethical commitment to the stories being told.
Cinema is not only a finished work but a cultural process capable of creating dialogue, preserving memory and imagining new futures.
